After 27 years of teaching, I still love getting up in the morning and seeing my students. In all those years, it's never been routine, and the school year has never repeated itself. I learn from my students as much as they learn from me.

I received my B.S., M.Ed., and Ed.S. from Middle Tennessee State University, and my Ed.D. from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. However, I'm constantly enrolled in the school of education--which is life itself. I'm a strong believer in Maslow's theory that we, as human beings, are designed for learning and growth. That's what makes life exciting...and that's why I love teaching.
